Refund policy

Last reviewed: 25 May 2026

The short version

A refund request is honoured in three cases:

  1. Within the cooling-off window after your first subscription purchase — see Cooling-off period for the current window length.
  2. Double-charge. If Razorpay debits you twice for the same subscription, we refund the duplicate automatically once we spot it (usually within 24 hours).
  3. Service unavailable. If the production feed is down for a continuous 24-hour window during a paid month, we credit a prorated amount to your next bill.

What is not refunded

  • Cancellations mid-month after the cooling-off window. The plan stays active until the end of the billing period; no partial refund.
  • Losses on trades inspired by Markov signals. Markov is research, not execution — see the disclaimer page for the full statutory position.
  • Subscription periods consumed before a downgrade.

How to request

  1. Settings → Subscription → Refund.
  2. Pick the reason from the list.
  3. We acknowledge inside two working days. Approved refunds hit Razorpay's queue the same day; bank credit typically arrives in 5–7 working days.

If you can't open the app, email support@markov.in from your registered email with the Razorpay payment ID. We pull the same record and process it server-side.

Status

The current refund policy was last reviewed on 25 May 2026 and is awaiting final counsel sign-off as part of our broader cooling-off implementation. Material changes get a 30-day notice to all paid users.
