Downloading your GST invoice

Last reviewed: 25 May 2026

Where invoices live

Every paid subscription period generates a tax invoice. They live in two places:

  1. In the app: Settings → Subscription → Invoices.
  2. Emailed to your registered email within 24 hours of each successful billing capture.

What the invoice contains

  • Your name and (if you provided one) your GSTIN.
  • Markov's legal name, GSTIN and registered office.
  • The HSN/SAC service code for research services.
  • The subscription period.
  • The taxable amount.
  • The applicable GST split — CGST + SGST for in-state billing (within the state where Markov is registered) or IGST for out-of-state billing. The destination state is determined by the registered-state field you provide on signup.

Adding your GSTIN

If you'd like invoices made out in your business name:

  1. Settings → Account → Tax details.
  2. Fill in your business name, GSTIN and registered state.
  3. Save.

GSTIN added mid-subscription applies to future invoices. Past invoices remain as-issued — GST regulations don't permit retroactive re-issuance of a tax invoice.

Downloading in bulk

There's no bulk-download button in the app today; each invoice downloads individually. If you need a year's worth at once (e.g., for your CA at year-end), email support@markov.in — we'll send a single ZIP within a working day.

Lost an email?

Every invoice is permanently accessible inside the app, so you don't need to keep the email. Mark our domain as a trusted sender if invoice emails are landing in spam.

Tax treatment

Your CA is the right person to advise on input-tax credit eligibility in your specific case. Markov can confirm the figures on the invoice but doesn't give tax advice.
