Frequently asked questions

Direct answers about Markov.

Regulation, research, risk, coverage, app availability and support. These answers were reviewed on 22 July 2026.

What is Markov?

Markov is an Android equity-research product for Indian markets, published by a SEBI-registered Research Analyst. It publishes general research recommendations and educational material; it is not a broker or trade-execution service.

Is Markov SEBI registered?

Yes. The Research Analyst registration is INH000027353, held by Yash Mahesh Jaiswal and valid from May 19, 2026 to May 18, 2031. The record can be checked independently through SEBI's intermediary lookup.

What is the difference between a Research Analyst and an Investment Adviser?

A Research Analyst publishes general research or recommendations. An Investment Adviser provides personalised advice after considering an individual's financial situation, risk profile and goals. Markov operates as a Research Analyst, not as a personalised investment adviser.

Does Markov execute trades or hold client money?

No. Markov does not place orders, connect to a broker account or hold client funds. A user who chooses to act does so independently through their own broker.

What information accompanies a published recommendation?

A recommendation in the app is designed to show its direction, publication time, an illustrative entry area, a structural stop and an indicative target. Always use the current dated status in the app; a directory or educational page is not a live call.

Which stocks and plans are currently covered?

Coverage depends on the current plan and can change. The pricing page is the canonical source for the latest plan prices and coverage; the public stock directory is a methodology reference rather than a live recommendation feed.

Does Markov guarantee returns?

No. Registration does not imply SEBI approval of a recommendation and no return is guaranteed. Research can be wrong, investments can lose value, and past performance is not indicative of future results.

Are recommendations personalised to me?

No. Markov publishes general research recommendations. It does not assess an individual's income, assets, liabilities, goals or risk tolerance. Consult a SEBI Registered Investment Adviser for personalised advice.

Where can I read the methodology and risk rules?

The How it works page explains the research process. The learning centre contains plain-language factor and risk guides, and the disclosures section contains the formal risk and regulatory information.

Is the Android app publicly available?

Yes. The official Markov Android listing is on Google Play under package com.tradingsignals.app. Avoid APK files or install links sent through unofficial groups.

Is there an iPhone or web trading app?

There is no public iOS app or web trade-execution product at present. Markov is Android-first, and it does not execute trades on any platform.

How do I contact support or file a grievance?

Email support@markov.in first. If a grievance remains unresolved, follow the published escalation path to the compliance officer, SEBI SCORES and SmartODR on the grievance page.
