Changing your email address

When you might want to do this

Most often: you changed jobs and your old work email is bouncing, or you'd like GST invoices to go to a dedicated finance address.

How to change it

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap Settings in the bottom bar.
  3. Under Account, tap your current email.
  4. Type the new email and confirm.
  5. Check the inbox of the new address for a verification link. Click it within 24 hours.

Until you verify the new one

Your existing email stays the canonical address on file — GST invoices keep going there. Once you click the verification link, we flip the record and the old email is detached.

If the verification email doesn't arrive

  • Check the spam folder first.
  • Confirm there are no typos in the new address.
  • If it's still missing after 10 minutes, hit Resend in the app.
  • If two resends fail, email support@markov.in — we'll do it server-side.

A note on KYC

Your KYC record carries the email you provided at KYC time. Updating your app-level email does not re-trigger KYC. If you need the KYC record updated as well (rare — usually only when a regulator queries), email support.
